Rod Dion, Owner and President, has built Tech Valley Office Interiors from the ground up after opening the doors in 2005 as a non-proprietary option to help clients maximize savings while creating efficient and productive work environments. Since then, he has also introduced NU2U Quality Used Office Furniture and Harmony CoWorks to the company's list of brands all under one roof.

NU2U, which he established in 2009, added preowned furniture options to the overall suite of offerings. If you are looking for furniture on a budget, customers can purchase furniture from NU2U right off the showroom floor while also having access to a full online inventory of preowned and remanufactured furniture options.

Upon moving the company to 50 Mohawk Street in Cohoes in 2020, Dion introduced Harmony CoWorks to the community. It encompasses 2,400 square feet of working space with various workstations, private offices, and conference rooms located inside TVOI.

Prior to becoming the architect of three businesses, Dion had a 15-year career in healthcare, where he was trained as a Nurse.

Although he enjoys spending time with family and friends at his camp and skiing in the Winter, Dion donates much time to his community and the City of Cohoes. He is Chairman of the Cohoes IDA, which supports the city by investing in projects that will create opportunities for continued growth. Furthermore, he offers the company parking lot for the ‘Parking for Charity’ program that helps generate fundraising revenues for community organizations.

The proud father of a daughter, Reagan, and a son, Tyler, he resides in Cohoes with his wife, Carolyn.
